Carers Tasmania provides recognition, support and advice to help you fulfill your caring role. Our friendly staff are on hand to help you work through the emotions and challenges carers face everyday. Our support programs connect you with local staff, other carers, groups, events and activities, so you can obtain support and spend some time away from your caring role in a social environment. We also provide carer education and training workshops to assist carers in their role. It’s okay to need a break from the role of being a carer. We can help you to explore options and plan flexible respite that best meets the needs of the person you care for. We can also help you organise emergency respite.
