Hi, I would like to introduce myself, my name is Ian Bucholz, aged 48 years, male Disability Support Worker. After working in the Disability Industry in Tasmania for some time I believe that as a sole operator I can provide a more personalised service to my clients. My hobbies include fishing, boating, sailing, walks, cycling, op-shopping, going to the Mens shed, outings and movies. With an easy-going attitude I can adapt well to most situations. Good communications skills are one of my most valued traits. I have even started learning sign language with one of my current clients to improve our communications.
I have over 8yrs work experience as a public servant within the Queensland Justice System. Obtained a trade as a Boilermaker Welder and worked as a bar manager in clubs and pubs. I have a vast amount of life experience and a down to earth hands-on approach to the services I provide. My business focus is on build client’s capacity to help them pursue their goals and aspirations resulting in greater outcomes later in life.
